Ingredients
- 439g of all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoons of ground nutmeg
- A pinch of ground cloves
- 200g of caster sugar
- 43g of unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 large egg
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 140ml of butter milk
- 260g of canned pure pumpkin
Instructions
- 1. Whisk the first 8 ingredients in a bowl to blend. Using and electric mixer, beat sugar and butter in a large bowl until blended.
- 2. Beat in the egg, then the yolks and vanilla. Gradually beat in buttermilk; beat in pumpkin in 4 additions.
- 3. Using a rubber spatula, fold in dry ingredients in 4 additions, blending gently after each addition. Cover with plastic and chill for 3 hours.
- 4. Once chilled turn on your Retro 3 in 1 Sweet Snack Maker and allow to pre-heat.
- 5. Open your 3 in 1 sweet snack maker and spoon the mixture into the doughnut compartments.
- 6. Close the lid and allow to bake for 5-6 minutes until the doughnuts are golden. Once they have finished remove them from the machine and allow to cool before serving.
