Ingredients
- Sticky Toffee Pudding Pops Ingredients
- 85g chopped dates
- 140ml water
- ½ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 30g butter
- 90g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 120g self-raising flour

- Toffee Dipping Sauce Ingredients
- 100g soft brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons double cream
- 65g butter
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
Instructions
- 1. Sticky Toffee Pudding Pops Instructions
- 2. Add the chopped dates and water to a pan and gently heat bringing the mixture to boiling point.
- 3. Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the bicarbonate of soda and vanilla essence.
- 4. In a bowl cream the butter and sugar together.
- 5. Next gradually add the egg whilst mixing.
- 6. Then gradually fold in the flour.
- 7. Finally stir in the dates mix to the bowl.
- 8. Spray the baking plates with a little oil and once the machine is hot enough add a spoonful of mixture to each cavity.
- 9. Close the machine and in 3-4 minutes you will have perfectly formed, delicious sticky toffee pudding pops!
- 10. The non-stick coating on the baking plates is that amazing that the pops can be easily removed without any mixture being stuck!
- 11. Put each sticky toffee pudding pop on a stick and serve with warm toffee dipping sauce.
- 12. The machine can then be wiped clean with a damp cloth ready to be used again to cook your next batch!

- 16. Gently bring it to the boil whilst stirring, then reduce the heat and simmer for three minutes.
